5th Grade Symbol Drawings
The fifth Grade students learned about the American, female artist, Ida Kohlmeyer. Kohlmeyer used symbols in her paintings in order to create meaning. The fifth grade students identified symbols we encounter on a daily basis. They created a grid and used an intentional color plan in order to create their oil pastel drawings.
