"An idea is our visual reaction to something seen - in real life, in our
memory, in our imagination, in our dreams."
--Anna Held Audette from the book, The Blank Canvas
These are great! You have a nice blog here. I added you to our blog roll list! Stop by if you get a chance. These glasses are a hoot. We might have to try those soon!
Elastic would be a good idea for the next time we do this project--thanks Sarah. The students with smaller ears had a hard time keeping them on without holding them :/
I LOVE your blog. I love your cherry blossoms and the cute glasses. I'm going to try this in my first grade classroom for April Fools this year. Did you just use magazine pics for the eyes? Super cute. The kids must have loved it too.
Thanks Pattie! Yes, the eyes are from magazine pics; my only word of caution is to make sure the students don't walk around as they're wearing them unless they punch small peep holes.
Hello, my name is Kate Eshelman, and I teach k-6 art at Crossroads Charter Academy. I am using this blog to post pictures and activities in our art class.
These are hilarious! Did you use elastic to keep them on?
