"An idea is our visual reaction to something seen - in real life, in our
memory, in our imagination, in our dreams."

Weaving on a Cardboard Loom
After watching an instructional video on weaving, created by a colleage of mine who teaches in the Detroit Public Schools, the students tried their own hands at weaving. We all learned that weaving takes practice, patience, and perseverane, but the end result is very gratifying!
We did too this yesterday! Little weavings had to be made in one hour .... not everyone is ready yet. We got a lot of keychains from the local groecery store, so soon all kids in my class have their own handmade keychain. I will post it on my blog when all children have finished it!
